Normec Verifavia, a leading independent verifier of maritime emissions data and IT systems, tested OpenOcean STUDIO against each regulation's requirements for fuel consumption and CO2 emissions calculations, voyage allocation, activity data, and general IT controls covering security, confidentiality, archiving, performance and change management. The assessment followed the principles of ISO 17065 (conformity assessment for bodies certifying products, processes and services).
The certification confirms that OpenOcean STUDIO's calculations, functionality and reporting process meet each regulation's requirements for demonstrating emissions compliance.
