We are delighted to announce that 90POE has once again been featured on the Global Maritime Tech Startup Map by Flagship Founders for the third consecutive year. This recognition highlights our work in developing the next-generation platform OpenOcean STUDIO and supporting the industry’s transition toward a more efficient, competitive and sustainable future.
What is the global maritime tech startup map?
The Global Maritime Tech Startup Map showcases the 176 most innovative maritime tech startups from five continents, spread across ten categories. Each year, the map highlights the companies that are leading digital transformation, in areas including voyage optimisation, finance, procurement, maintenance, commercial and others. This year’s edition reflects a surge in AI adoption, with 45% of all featured startups now integrating AI into their products, up from 27.5% the previous year.
90POE's OpenOcean STUDIO addresses various categories within the maritime tech landscape (including “Condition & Maintenance”, “Voyage Optimisation”, “Crew Management”, “Chartering” and “Green Tech & Decarbonisation”), earning us recognition in the "Communications & Information Management" category. A category where 90% of startups founded in the past three years are leveraging data and advanced analytics, highlighting the rapid transformation underway.
